Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School is a self-governing school of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Westminster. As our mission statement says - "Everything we say and everything we do should be based on the Gospel values of Truth, Justice, Peace and Love". Each individual in our community is valued as a unique and gifted creation of God. As the only co-educational Catholic School in this area, we take pride in striving for quality and excellence in all that we do. We have 1000 students on roll, 160 of whom are in the Sixth Form.
We have a large, pleasant greenfield site on the rural outskirts of St Albans, once the Roman city of Verulamium. There is room for the students to work and play in safe and secure surroundings. Apart from Sixth Formers, our students remain on the site throughout the day.
