Music Department

KS3: Years 7-9

Music is taught for one hour a week during Key Stage 3. The curriculum covers a wide variety of topics, from more classical to popular styles, from western traditions to world music. Within each year group scheme there is a dedicated Music Technology unit, which allows pupils the opportunity to use our dedicated Music software, including GarageBand and Sibelius 5, to compose, arrange and record their own compositions. These units are denoted by a double star** on the list below.
