ICT Safety
Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School provides a safe and secure online environment for young people using the Hertfordshire Grid for Learning and Ranger Network Security. It is important that parents and guardians also seek advice on how they can provide a similar environment for their children when accessing the Internet from home and how to help their children to develop safe habits when learning and playing online.
Young people can use the web site below which helps them learn more about how to use the internet safely.
More information about the Hertfordshire Grid for Learning filtering facilities can be found at the website below

Acceptable Use Policy
Pupils at the school are issued with a copy of the ICT acceptable use document which both parents/ guardian and the pupil are expected to sign and return to the school. This is to ensure that students at the school are aware of what is acceptable and what is not acceptable behaviour when using the ICT facilities. From September 2007 this document will be part of the homework diary.
