Year 9 Insight into Industry

The Insight into Industry Days introduces our students to the skills they will need in the work place

150 students from Year 9 participated in a number of team building and problem solving activities set by visiting Industrialists to the school, who generously gave up their time to run a number of events over two days. Students were split into groups of 16 where they were carefully scrutinised by their team leaders to see if they had what it takes to be Nicky B's young apprentice. All students participated extremeny well, but 50 were found to have the edge:

A big thank you to all the Industrialists who participated this year. They were: The University of Hertfordshire, (Presentation skills) Saracens rugby club, (Coaching skills) Watford Football Club, (Coaching skills) Setpoint Engineers, (Bridgebuilding) The RAF, (Teambuilding) Rumball Sedgwick Estate Agents (Egg Drop) and the LIC, Expressive Arts and Technology Departments within the school.
